ok so check this out

iif i were to hook up a 3000 watt mono amp max to a 600 watt sub *its 2 subs*

would it damage the subs if i had the gain set at like 25 percent?

and would i have to change the wire running from the battery to the amp cause right now i think im using 16 gague wire? is it a must if im not going to have the amp at full blast?

that actually is not wrong at all, i have posted very few things on these boards that are not true, and when they are, i retract them and edit....now as to the point i was making....

most manuacturers do not post even close to the right specs for the amps.... one ohm stable does not mean it should ever be run at one ohm...
and as for the three companies i mentioned... those are by far the best names in the business and give true numbers after testing the equipment myself....

i've been doing this for over 5 years professionally... maybe you could learn a little something smile.gif there's plenty i don't know but when i post something... i usually have a pretty good grasp on the information
