iif i were to hook up a 3000 watt mono amp max to a 600 watt sub *its 2 subs* would it damage the subs if i had the gain set at like 25 percent? and would i have to change the wire running from the battery to the amp cause right now i think im using 16 gague wire? is it a must if im not going to have the amp at full blast? -------------------- Is this good enuff 4 ya? :D

well i must say if i am wrong then i am wrong but i have also been doing this for a few years and have been competing in usac with a group of guys for the last few years. i have run every amp i have ever owned at 1 ohm and have never had a problem. but then again i must be wrong. i better call home and let my friends know who own and run a shop they are doing it all wrong.we right now have a dude running 3 memphis mojo 15s each at 1ohm on there own 4KW. its just fine.Kicker, diamond, memphis,IA, each has worked just fine at 1 ohm or below.
