I just bought a S2000 style start button and tried to install it but i dunno which wires to tap from.
2 wires should go from the starter solenoid to the relay of the button. Start: black/white Ignition #1: Black/orange Ignition #2: Blue/red Accessory: grey Constan +12 volts: white I tried Ignition #1 and #2 and nothing happened. So then I tried ignition #2 and start, then my fuse burned out twice. I haven't tried ignition #1 and start yet cus i dont wanna burn another fuse. help me guys.... constant 12v? dont think you need that. connect the white black & black/orange or just black to the relay and thats it.
so basically you wire it like this: 12v swiched live to pin 30, wire out to starter to pin 87,push button switch ,pin 86, ground to pin 85. ...the problem with these switch is when the engine already started if you press it again it will kill the engine...im working one a second relay so that when the engine started it wont die if you press the switch again...only works when the engine is off. i think i need some diodes....LOL This post has been edited by lubu: May 7, 2007 - 11:36 AM -------------------- 98% completion --- aaRon |
