so last nite i'm droppin my friend off at her house, just about to leave. my car has the parking brake up and is not in gear. feet off of the pedals. all of a sudden it stalls and i hear massive grinding. i turn it off and try to start it, again massive grinding. i get my flashlight and shine it under the car and pink fluid is just streaming out from behind the oil pan. so i think pink fluid then i think transmission fluid, am i right or just sadly mistaken? so i get it towed today to an AAMCO cuz i thought it was the transmission. it gets towed, the guy looks at it, and seemingly the trans is fine and there is no compression in the engine. has this happened to anyone else? is it the timing belt? i have never heard of a timing belt snapping and causing a huge ass leak though. well at least it happened in my friends driveway. am i gonna have to pay out of my ass to fix this? or possibly is this just a blessing in disguise to get a 3sgte? cuz that would definitely brighten up the situation. anyway, if anyone knows what the hell just happened to my car, please enlighten me.

NO ONE has had this happen? well, the car is at an engine shop right now, and i'm waiting for their call, but they prolly won't call me until monday cuz they're closed on the weekend and the guy said he might not be able to get to it today. thats mechanic code for there is no way i'm getting to it today. so i definitely don't have a car until monday, and prolly longer than that. if anyone has any clue what happened, TELL ME! frown.gif
