Does the 7A on a 95 celica st have lifters?

yea its really really embarrasing, almost everyone i know says its a POS and im gonna throw a rod or a bearing any minute now,
any ideas on how to fix it, or at least quiet them a little? (i tried ATF, didnt work) |
