I bought a 90-93 accord intake like a couple people suggested on another post and i got it today....wasnt really what i was expecting..i thought it was 2 pipes but mine came in 1...so i took everything out of the box..they gave me the pipe the filter and all the clamps i needed...took out the old box..cut the pipe to fit..n these are the results:

Mine was about 32"x12"x8" (guessing on the 32" because it fit perfect between my strut towers in my trunk). The pipe was wrapped in bubble wrap, the filter was in another small box and the rest was in a sealed plastic bag.
For rain to hydrolock and engine, wouldn't the rain have to almost directly be hitting the filter? I mean, it takes more than some spray or a couple drops to seize an engine doesn't it?
