I have a 96 convertable from Tennessee but now it's in Northern Indiana, and with colder weather and sometimes high humidity or rain, when I start up, the RPM's drop, the engine rumbles shakes and sputters and sometimes even shuts off. When I turn the key again, it almost always starts back up without an issue. Also, if I keep my foot on the gas, regulating the RPM's around 2k for 10 seconds or so, the rumbling goes away. The engine is a stock USDM engine with 118k miles on it and it gets regular tune ups and oil changes. Any idea what is causing this rumbling and how I may fix it.
Thanks guys! -BD |

Probably your ISC valve isn't opening when you start.
