could we use the mr2 trd short shifter? i know we can use both celicas but the 00-05 takes modding. but what about the mr2 short shifter. should be basically the same right?

I'm pretty sure, but I don't think any of the guys on here bought brand name shifters. The ones we got are pretty much the same quality.

The 7th Gen ones are too short IMO. My friend had one on his 7th Gen GT - accidently misshifted - goodbye motor. bent valves FTL. I still have my old 10% reduction TRD shifter gathering dust in the garage. I shortened it by another 1" tho. I'll end up putting it on one of the local Celicas around here eventually. -------------------- |
