I'm looking into buying a stock 98 GT Conv. The rear suspension feels a little soft. Any idea on how much it would be to at least get it back to factory? I'm not interested in any lowering kits, so it's a little hard to find info on OEM shocks/struts.

Thanks!

Not even a slight drop like the Eibach Pro-Kit [1" front and rear] and others? I'm sure you could get stock replacement springs anywhere from the dealer to parts shops but I would think they will cost as much or more than drop springs.
Why would you not want a drop? TRD or Sportline springs [same thing just the drop is slightly diff] are OEM ride quality and the drop greatly improves the looks of the car. If it feels really loose in the back the springs/struts are probably worn out so be aware that like Malpaso found out it will raise up when you put new springs on. It looks like an off-road vehicle stock laugh.gif
Maybe take pics of the way it looks now and we can tell you if it is sagging and whether or not it will raise with new OEM springs.

Here's a pic from the side. Doesn't look like it's sagging too much to me, but I'm no expert. smile.gif
