So here are some process pics First - reminder of how my wheels looked then i bought them:
They there repianted already into the silver - they where White in color originally... Just in case - these are Volk Racing Daytona. I found a wheel shop that managed to polish the lips of the wheels, and clearcoat them with special clearcoat for aluminium, so after i got them back, i started to sand sand sand.... Covered the polished lip so that it aint got scratched. After long sanding - shooted 2 component primer, and it was back again to sanding with wet 1000grit... damn my fingers heart Started masking the lips again to avoind paint hitting on them: After all the masking was done - it was time for the damn paint on witch i was debating so damn long.... I chosed HOK gun metal grey pearl and i think i vent right way Here they are in all the glory + i added Rays / Volk stickers to them to make these wheels look more modern So thanks for everyone who voted in my Poll - and thanks for helping me out on decidion Soon these wheels will go on my Babe -------------------- Ex celica owner - just a guy from other side of the pond...

Great, that colour will go well with your body. And the lip is f***ing shiny, to keep it that way you will have to polish it with soft cloth every two miles you drive.
BTW - I miss Volk Racing sticker on one of the wheels, any chance to get one? (sticker, not wheel). Another thing, for this season I will leave the rims bronze, but if I'm not satisfied - next season I will go white with... orange lip. I can't wait to drive to you with my GT4, to pick-up the other GT4 and have a three JDM Celica meet (and drive around). This will be worth serious photoshooting. -------------------- '94 ST202 - tuned, highly apprieciated, but sold.
