i read an ariticle in a recent issue of sport compact car and was inspired
http://www.sportcompactcarweb.com/projectc...ura_rsx_s_turbo i was looking into a summer project to keep me busy. i want to look into the pros and cons of this and what i am going to get myself into. the basic idea is to cut the shape out and bend it down. the only cons i can think of are cracking of the paint when cutting, bending issues, and clearance between the bottom of the inlet and the engine (or above the intake where it will be) i would assume a carbon fiber hood would be easier to do this on due to its pliability, but if i were to get a plain cf hood i would just go with the gt-four hood if i were to spend money. i just wnat to try it on my oem here is an example on a miata http://www.revlimiter.net/mods/duct.html -------------------- ![]() 1995 GT::::Diffusing the Situation エキサイティングカーレーシングチーム! march 2010 COTM : 6GC feature 2014 : january 2015-2016-2018 COTM |

that duct would of looked great about 10 years ago when the Viper made it popular. Now it's just out dated and IMO doesn't belong on our cars.
