Ok so I am doing some research too see what I want to do with my engine....I was thinking of going NA for awhile but after doing a comp. test yesterday I think I may go another route. I searched around a bit and I remember reading about a 7afe with a 4age head on it. I was thinking of maybe putting the head on from a 4a-gze and SC'n my motor. Id probaly you the SC12 too start and maybe move up to the s14 if all was well. Any ideas , comments aabout this are welcome.

this is the engine i want to have someday in my mk1 mr-2 that i'll get someday.
iirc you start with a 4agze and then use the gze pcm with a safc2 or other piggy back and use the 7afe block. it gets tricky with the crank/cam stuff since the 7afe crank pulley wont work with the 4agze belt, so you need to get something special setup to work there. -------------------- |
