So i am planing to put in a 3S-GTE into my 97 Vert , i did some research and everyone says that it is favourible to put reinforcment to the chasis and the unibody and stuff in order for it to handle the new found power ! , on a convertble which already have reinforcments in order to make up for the loos of a complete body ( NO TOP! LOL ) , so can it handle the power ??

ok , this might sound irrelevent but i need some opinions kindasad.gif ... i just spend the last 3 hours researching about the 3SGTE , how to swap into a GT , problems .. my mechanical experience is really low , i just know how things go and whats what but i really cant do much with my own hands ... i love my celica , our 6g are probably my favourite cars on the road and i really want to do a 3s-gte swap in the future , now here is the problem , considering that the car is not really comon , it will be hard to find a shop that knows the swap and can do it nicely ( i dont want my tranny to be mounted in a wrong way , or to have my A/c not wired up and all the other issues related ) ... so what do i do ?? keep on trying ? or just save up , sell it and buy a GTI ( only turbo car i can afford and i HATE IT ) ... any suggections ... i am really starting to feel that this is a bit too complicated for me frown.gif
