So i am planing to put in a 3S-GTE into my 97 Vert , i did some research and everyone says that it is favourible to put reinforcment to the chasis and the unibody and stuff in order for it to handle the new found power ! , on a convertble which already have reinforcments in order to make up for the loos of a complete body ( NO TOP! LOL ) , so can it handle the power ??

I did my swap with little to no expereience, i had my wiring done by doc tweak (mailed him the harnesses) and while that was away i worked on the rest. There are a decent amount of people in so-cal on the site with car expereience and im sure they would help out. For me it was an incredible learning expereince that really got me interested in working on my car myself.

it will take longer and you will have to redo some of your own work, but the knowledge gained is worth the time and effort! biggrin.gif

PS: i borrowed an engine hoist and bought tools as needed
