I want to get a new paint job because my car's paint is really bad , also it has alot of dents and stuff , i am also planing to put a 404 lip kit and get it painted with the car... now i know that if i want to save money i should sand and prime the car myself , i was just wondering what sand paper grits should i use for the best results, any body have a favourite spray primer brand ? ... also i havent shoped for dent removal yet but i just wanted to know if i should have the dents removed before or after i sand/prime the car ... also a lil brief how-to would be great , jsut to make sure i got it right !

all i can say is that: before you bondo the dents, you want to sand/grind down to bare metal, and allways prime afterwards. also idk if the rear of the 404 kit fits the convertable that great, could be wrong tho.

I am not planing to do the dents myself , i dont think i have enough experience to do it , i will have the pros do that , my question is should i sand prime first , or have the dents removed first ... also the 404 rear lip will not fit , i am actually getting OEM/JDM rear extentions which will defenitly fit This post has been edited by NaderG: May 30, 2007 - 8:40 PM |
