I want to get a new paint job because my car's paint is really bad , also it has alot of dents and stuff , i am also planing to put a 404 lip kit and get it painted with the car... now i know that if i want to save money i should sand and prime the car myself , i was just wondering what sand paper grits should i use for the best results, any body have a favourite spray primer brand ? ... also i havent shoped for dent removal yet but i just wanted to know if i should have the dents removed before or after i sand/prime the car ... also a lil brief how-to would be great , jsut to make sure i got it right !

I'd have the dents removed before you do anything. When my car was at the bodyshop thats how they did it. And honestly i don't think spray can (primer) would be a great idea for a whole car. I was wanting to do all my bodywork myself when i first got my kit and stuff. And then i rethought everything and figured that its a lot of work to prep everything yourself. But if you are really wanting to do it yourself. Get the dents fixed and then buy yourself a spray gun to spray the primer on your car. Also make sure that everything is sanded good enough so it doesn't show through after the cars painted. What color are you wanting to paint it??
