Build Thread: 2004 Nissan 350Z Theft Recovery, Sold on 4/11/2012 Options

Hey all. This is going to be my offical build thread. I recently purchased a 2004 Touring Fully Loaded 6 speed Z. The only problem was, it was a theft recovery. The thieves presented a fake ID and had the car gone for a little over one hour! And this is the outcome. This car is going to take me a little while to get together because I'm a 19 year old college student. I paid for the car myself and have to pay for everything, so funds are limited after paying for my apartment at school, phone, insurance on the other car, gas, etc. Here are pics of the car as I bought it.

UPDATE:
Some of the older members may recall the 2003 Red 350Z I took to prom last year. It was my moms best friends car. Well she's been trying to sell it here locally for a couple of weeks and they relocated it out somewhere else so more people would see it a couple of days ago. Something shorted out at 2am and caused a fire. it lit the entire gas tank/rear on fire... As much as that sucks, she had full coverage and still has her hummer to drive so I dont feel as bad. The good news is that if insurance doesn't want an arm and a leg for it, I'll be getting it. it will have almost everything I'm missing and a lot of leftover stuff that i'll be able to sell and recoup most of my costs. nice project... ive seen a lot of theft recovery supras that have tempted me, but theres no way i could pull it off... good luck with everything, 350's are nice

Yeah I thought that after it got here... But I took a step back, took a deep breathe and realized that I'm on NO time table at all. Sure I'd love to have it done asap, but I'm taking my time and attempting to do things correctly.

yeah.... a headrest and no wheels? Come on... But seriously they did everything else in ONE hour.... they were good.... I woulda given it 3 hours to simply be a frame

you can drift in those cars so easy. even in the stock way it comes off the showroom floor. fun fun. have fun
