QUOTE .. do you know of the rods are the same that the mr2 or 3sgte??? i find pistons & rods all forged, but are for MR2 or 3SGTE and i dont know if they works on my 3SGE... Rods are the same for all 3S motors, and they are extremely strong. Unless you are planning for 500+ HP, or your trying to add power and stay in a particular racing class / division, there's no need to upgrade the rods. The 3SGTE and 3SGE pistons are interchangeable. I put stock (st185) 3SGTE pistons in my st202 3SGE. For a 3rd gen 3SGE (st202), you'll need the ST205 manifold. The ST185 and similar MR2 manifolds wont work. If you can find a stock 205 manifold, it will be much stronger then the ebay stainless ones. Check www.mr2oc.org for used 3rd gen manifolds. -------------------- Scott
