Just a thought guys regards the side markers. I'd always assumed these were of the type of construction where the lens was solvent glue bonded to the backing, much like the Supra MK3 side repeaters which have proved very popular. With these, I had to precision cut the 2 parts apart to make a mould for the lenses.
Owners then perform some surgery to cut and remove the amber before refitting the amber. Link below show what's involved...... http://www.mkiiisupra.net/bbs/showthread.p...ed=1#post169759 http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f11/wolf...ontsandside.jpg As this is a bit of a PITA, I hadn't considered offering them for the Celi and also you can get the clear crystal or diamond cut Ricey type probably cheaper for the whole units than I could supply the lenses for. However if they can be split in the oven without damaging either part and there is sufficient interest, I'm sure I could do them quite easily Snapshot gt has been on at me for ages to do some for him, but I always assumed it would be too much hassle. so, would there be sufficient interest. If I decided to do them, if somebody could sent me a pair of originals, I would send them a pair of clear lenses FOC Let me know what you reckon -------------------- Has your car ever been on T.V? Mine was used in the opening sequences here - note the clear turns and front LED's
