hey my friend is having problems with his car. he replaced the thermostat and when he starts his car and starats driving around...the engine temperature rises really fast. he has no leaks in the radiator. any ideas??

What was wrong before he replaced the thermostat?
Was it the same symptom, overheating? Did he replace the thermostat with a new/used/correct one? If the thermostat is stuck closed, the car will over heat, fast. -------------------- _Gary
