HELP! What's this attached to my old headlight? How do i get it off? there is no fixing place for it in the projector.

HID lights require both electronic adjustment and washers or wipers. You might get lucky and pass an MOT without them - it is something that testers have generally overlooked in the past but VOSA are getting hot on DIY HID use in particular. I just kinda assumed / expected that one could move the whole mechanism over to the JDM housing. I've bought but haven't fitted mine yet so starting to worry now.
