Well... i'll be looking for a new laptop for college, i dont want to spent over $1k on it. i dont know much about computers, and i was hoping someone could point me in the right direction of whats the best bang for the buck. i want something reliable, and that will last awhile and i'll be happy with lol. i dont really play video games, but i do want something that can handle the multimedia/internet, but something i can also use for school. if this doesnt make sense lmk, im kinda in a rush atm

HP gives student discounts, and I get district discount because I work for a school district. We are purchasing a lot of nx6325 laptops from HP. They are a really good laptop. I like them a lot and they're reliable! If multimedia is more your thing then check out he HP 8430 laptop.
I think my next laptop is going to be a macbook though. A guy I go to school with has one that he has running Windows and Linux AND OS X running simultaneously. Very cool! -------------------- 1991 MR2 - T-tops - Crimson Red - Gen3 3SGTE - Lots of money
