So I have the celi at the exhaust shop right now having my header-back exhaust line done, and the mechanic just called me saying that the headers dont go down far enough to clear the oil pan. I had an idea of having him cut the pipes coming from the engine and adding ceramic coated extensions to try to lower it a bit, but I was wondering if anybody else had this problem and how they resolved it.
dammit. On top of that, somebody broke into my car last night and stole two packs of cigarettes and a bottle of cologne, and left me an unopened can of pepsi. wtf is happening today?!?! --------------------  |

i'm guessing the mechanic just looked and said it wouldnt clear :lol: especially once it dawned on him he had to move the alternator out of the way and fuss with that belt, which isnt a big deal but does add about another 15 minutes to the job.
