HELP!!! Headers dont clear the engine, (%^#Q@(_*%^@$(*% ebay Options

So I have the celi at the exhaust shop right now having my header-back exhaust line done, and the mechanic just called me saying that the headers dont go down far enough to clear the oil pan. I had an idea of having him cut the pipes coming from the engine and adding ceramic coated extensions to try to lower it a bit, but I was wondering if anybody else had this problem and how they resolved it.


dammit.

On top of that, somebody broke into my car last night and stole two packs of cigarettes and a bottle of cologne, and left me an unopened can of pepsi.

Nah, he thought about it for a couple minutes, then got sick of thinking and pulled off the original manifold and it matched right up and cleared fine. lol. and they actually had to add about 6 inches between the headers and the cat.

I kinda wish I would have gotten a different muffler though. This one's louder than what I wanted. Down the road I'll probably change it but it's fine for now.

I was really please with the job they did. Only things I brought them were the headers, downpipe, cat, and muffler, and they bent all the piping and did all the welding for 275. Compared to the shop up the street asking for almost 500, I'm happy with it.
