Well it won't be able to compete with the supercars but I want it to compete in the visual appeal first... Then maybe I can talk my mom into letting me do an engine swap...
I want to start off with low cost things first... I am thinking about getting me some seat covers or seat cushions... A person told me that racing seats aren't practical for a daily driver... And then I may get the pedals... Then get me the dash kit and Then get me a CD changer... then I probably get me some rims and tires (I don't like the low and small look of 17 and 18s, since I am going to be driving on pot hole city roads I think 15s are good enough...)... But I don't know where to go from there... I want to keep the resonator on my car because I like the quiet cruising and silent idling but I just want a tad amount of show... Some people told me that a muffler tip about 3 inches with fiberglass packed resonator (however you say it) was the thing I need... But I want a MagnaFlow Muffler Twin Tips and they said that that was going to be loud... Well are they right... and how do you think my project is going to do...? |

Racing seats may not be practical simply because they cost a lot of money, but they are really comfy and hold you in extremely well, and they'll make your interior look like a show car. I've seen some pretty cool seat covers though, like Bryan(1bwilson)'s TRD seat covers. Most seat covers are kind of ugly in my opinion, but there are some really nice looking ones if you look around.
As for the rims, you may want to consider some 16" rims, because they're an excellent compromise of good looks and good drivability. I have 17x7" rims on my car and we have some bad roads around here, and I haven't damaged them yet. My ride is a bit rough though. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...
