I'm nearly finished with the swap. Just need to know if its necessary to get a new fuel pump and exhaust. I know its recommended, but I'd rather save some money and do it later. I've already spent 3800 and I dont want to spend anything I don't have to.

It all depends on what the end goals are. For a stock 2nd gen 3SGTE, the ST's 160 LPH will be fine. BTW, Its the same pump thats used on the 5S and 3rd gen 3SGE cars. The stock ST185/SW20 is a 170 LPH, which would be a safer bet but at a 6% increase (at 45 psi) its not really gaining that much.
Now for a 3rd gen 3SGTE, the stock 540's (at 75 % duty rate - capable of roughly 330 HP) will be pushing beyond the limits of the stock ST pump. The ST205 / MKIV NA Supra pump (190 LPH )would be better and safer. I am running a Supra TT pump in my all-trac, which has 660's and a TD06 setup. -------------------- Scott
