For all you WA people, do any of you know if it is illegal to take off your front liscence plate? I know iv'e seen a lot of other cars and some other 6th gen owners who drive w/out on the front. So i'm not sure if it could get me a ticket or if it would just be ok to have the liscence plate in the car with me just in case..?

i rather be a slow turtle in risk of extinction, than a fast locust, that you can see everywhere and need to be terminated.

It varys from state to state, and yes for you it looks like it is illegal (link)
i have gotten pulled over for not having it myself in annapolis, they just gave me a warning, but the standard ticket is like 60 bucks. if you decide not to put it on, i would keep it in the car like i did, and when you do get pulled over, whip it out and say you lost the screw or something (thats what saved me from a ticket smile.gif).
