Yesterday I sold the Celica, and it was very sad, but today I got my new car.
I got a '93 Del Sol S. This is no "Del Slow" however. It's got a H2B swap (H22A mated to a B16 tranny) and all kinds of goodies. It's got some Advan SA3R 15" wheels with Falken Azenis tires, Buddy Club coilovers in back with custom rate springs, and Koni Yellows on unknown coilovers (they look like Ground Controls though) in front. Motorwise, the bottom end of the JDM H22 is stock, but the head was rebuilt with Skunk2 valves, seals, springs, and retainers. The tranny was rebuilt with new stacks, synchros, bearings, and a Kaaz LSD. The car has a lightweight flywheel and ACT 6 puck unsprung clutch, which is difficult to get used to but grabs really well. Bolt-ons include an Injen header, FPR, JDM long-tube header, Hasport mounts, and ported intake manifold. The car is basically stock outside and in. The interior is missing some pieces here and there, but is in generally good shape, and the paint on the outside is in great shape. On with the pics. The car is filthy from the long drive home, back to Ellensburg, then back home again, but I had to at least snap a few pics. Advan wheels...soon to be sold. Bad pic. Sorry. The interior. Del Sol seats are really comfy. Yes, that's a H22 sticking through the hood. Many H2B swaps suffer from similar problems, but it will be remedied soon. Another H22 shot. I'm swapping valve covers, plug wires, and oil pans with my buddy on Wednesday hopefully before he sells his H22. The bay in all its glory. It's no tucked Yelli Celi bay, but perhaps I'll begin tucking some stuff soon. Oh, by the way, this car is fast. It flies through the close-ratio gears like nothing I've ever driven before, and runs beautifully. The previous owner ran a 13.1 his only time out to the track with the car. And that was without this: My plans include throwing my Fat Fives on it (Advans are awesome but are a magnet for thieves, and can be sold for $$$), fixing the little things wrong with it, doing some work on the bay, doing something about the hood, maybe a front lip and different sideskirts, and upgrading the alarm to something even better, for now. I know everyone is sad to see the Celica gone (I am too), but this car is really a great car. What do you guys think? -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

First off, id like to say how AWSOME your New del sol is. And say how AWSOME your celica was.
Second, IMHO a del sol is the ONLY sport compact id get rid of my celica for...period no discussion. A buddy of mine put an Integra GSR motor (b17 is about 160hp w/ vtec) into his del sol, and that thing was "fast". But an H22.....that will have like WarpSpeed written all over it. The car weighs like 12pounds (sarcasm), and with 200ish ponies (not counting the obvious mods) that will be a beast. QUOTE(Coomer @ Jul 2, 2007 - 3:05 AM) ^I love this. So much power the hood cant even contain it. lol Good Luck. Hondatech is getting a good guy. edit: and Coomer, if u want to keep the advans (and not get them stolen..) get like 3 different types of locking lugs, what theif is gonna waste there time on 3 or 4 differnt types of lugs, and 4 different wheels.
