the switch in my door that tells the car if it is open is not working. i replaced the button itself but it didn't fix it. i am thinking i have a short or something. anyone else have this problem? how do i fix it? i am truly annoyed at this point. anyone? all help will be appreciated. thanks guys. edit: i have already taken apart the panels right there and don't really know what to look for. i will take some pics tomorrow morn. i am also having some issues with my seat belt. i am in the process of trying to get that fixed too. did you khow that they changed the seat belts from 94 to 99? if what i am going to do doesn't work i will ask more q's thanks for your help. A short on the ground [negative] side wouldn't cause it to not work.
An open [such as bad ground] would. IIRC the ground for it is right there anyways, though I might be wrong. See if it has 12V going to the switch. If not it could be the integration relay. -------------------- ![]() |
