Ok so here's the deal...My original VIS bumper's bottom lip was ripped off by a strip of tire on the freeway. I bought a used one from guy here on 6gc not too long after that. Anyways, the bumper is painted white but my car is black so of course i need to get the bumper repainted. So today i went to a couple shops and like two of them had the whackest service ever so I didn't even deal with them and the last shop I went to was quoting me over $1000.00 just to get it sanded, repaired, and repainted with good quality paint. They were saying how they needed it to sand it, repair it perfectly or else it'll come out really bad. Now is that a fair price? Is it really that hard to repair aftermarket fiberglass bumpers? And if anyone knows a really good autobody shop here in So. Cali around the LA area let me know. Thanks for your help guys.
