I just replaced the motor in my car. I took many things off the car. Now there is a noise coming from my motor/transmission like something is loose and banging. It only happens when I'm in gear. It goes away when I step on the throttle in the low gears. Cruising, it's very loud with constant low throttle.
I'm hoping it's just the transmission mount. Any experiences? Suggestions? O yea. I'm going straight when this happens. As I replaced an axle too. |

QUOTE(playr158 @ Jul 11, 2007 - 6:20 PM) weird, well i guess it was a good thing it was the bearing they are cheapo to fix When I did them on a late 80s Camry (mcpershon (sp) strut design) they were a pain to get out, simply due to the age to rust ratio and the midwest's fine weather and roads. -------------------- NASA/SCCA RX-7....currently under the knife
