Depending on the quality of your subs, you may get more mechanical/cone noise from facing your subs into the cab. I have always preferred to have my subs facing the back most of all, second facing up.
What I want to know is if anyone has used any of the shallow mount subs to make a really small box in their hatch? I picked up a Kicker CVT 12" with a 4 5/16" mount depth and I have been designing a box to fit between the strut towers, but since I put my strut bar in, I'm a little short on space. I'm also going to hide the amp, cap and xover behind the seats sunk-in to the back of the box, if there's room. -------------------- ![]() |
