hi iam new to the forum , recently i just replace my ac compressor , since it keep slipping, and a day after the car wont start ....with no spark ... . anyone know whats going on with it .. iam thinking of bad ignitor or coil.. but have no idea how to check ... any help would be great .. thank you

yeah...check your sparks...take out spark plug wire, you have to use spark plug socket to get it out and check for engine oil if any on the spark plug, if all is well by means of no oil, good, if it is crusty, it is time for new sparks...if that's not the case, my second guess would be starter....get a replacement, it it still doesn't work after all these options, i would think it could have been also the distrubutor cap that ignites the sparks when you turn the key....it is basically the cap that the spark plug wires plug into on the right hand side of the engine bay (if you're standing right in front of the car looking down into your engine)..., also one last thing, it could be as easy as your battery...this is from my experience dealing with factors why the car won't start....hope this helps...

ok, here we go, that car does crank, the spark plug seem fine .. battery seem ok too. did pull spark plug and tested for spark .. but no spark.. do u know how to test the coil and ignitor ????? big help thank you
