I was offered an opportunity to make some $$$ on the side, making floor plans for a local contractor. Id basicly be freelance. He'd call me when he needed some plan drawn up, and I'd work at home, and bring it in when it is finished.
Now: the problem: I dont have AutoCad at home. And im not about to spend 3k for the program either. I know there are a few AutoCad people on here, and I was wondering if it is possible to locate an older version, for free/cheaper then the newer AutoCad07/08. Id really like to stay in the AutoCad00-08 versions. Anything earlier doesnt have alot of the commands, and is more menu based. So what im looking for: Website for download (free or purchased) Some insight as to how to get it. (my job doesnt use AutoCad we use a different solid modeling program, because it has more addons) Thanks Miguel -------------------- ![]() Kawi Love |

I have AutoCAD 2k and 2k2, got them from school, almost never used em. why autoCAD, if they use a diff program try geting the one they use or if you just doing floor plans try getting a copy of chief. http://www.chiefarchitect.com/ praticularly good floor plan program I also used in school.
