Here is a picture of an st205 celica front clip:
![]() ![]() A front clip is basically having an entire front part of a car that consist of the engine, all sensors, wiring harnesses, lights, hoses, and other essential components. Reason for buying a front clip over just buying the engine is that it consist of everything that you need to complete the swap, aside of maybe fabricating a few lines/hoses and maybe the wiring harness. The motor mounts, complete downpipe, turbo, what ever it may be that you will need is already there when purchasing a front clip. Sure it's a few hundred dollars more to get one, but the end result will be that you may not need to go somewhere on ebay or something to find a part that you might be missing. Take my advice and get a front clip, I personally did my swap by just buying the engine and cut harness and came out that I needed to get a few more parts to get the engine running the way I wanted it to.
