Ok I kinda have an idea as to what a Curren is, but not well. To me it looks like a Celica coupe with a different front end sold to the JDM market only, but thats all i know. So, when were they made, where were the sold, what engines did they come in, and all the differences is what i wanna know. Also, since the Curren was sold in japan, were Celica coupes ever sold there, or were they just liftbacks? Any good websites out there with more info? Thanks!

ding ding ding! you are correct. well... mostly correct. the Celica coupe is merely a Curren with a Celica front end. they share the same frame so it was very easy for Toyota to do.

as for the Curren, they were sold only in Japan and came only in front wheel drive with one of 2 engines, 3sfe or 3sge. TS, XS, ZS and TRD Sports were the model names if I remember correctly.

if there is anything else you want to know give me a holler. wink.gif
