a lot of people often ask what you can compare the performance of a swapped celica with bolt on mods to. after some careful research, i think our rival would be the stage2 sti. stage 2 on the sti consists of exhaust, boost controler at 19psi, and an ecu tune. this gives the sti about 300hp 340tq at the wheels. on the "street" this car would be dead even with a 3sgte swap with bolt on mods, at 15psi.

here is the 1/4 of the stage2 sti.
R/T --- .838 60' --- 1.900 330 --- 5.467 1/8 --- 8.466 MPH --- 83.05 1000 ---11.024 1/4 --- 13.196 MPH --- 104.41 bare in mind that it was this drivers first time at the track. i think what we really need to do, is compare the MPH of these cars. one car can run a more impressive 1/4, but another car, with a higher 1/4 time, could be faster from a roll. the track mph would reflect that.
