hello,

i'm looking to find out if anyone knows what color the wires are in a stock harness for a rear speaker. i'm putting in a line level converter right behind the radio b/c i already have rca's run from there and need to keep them there for when i put in anohter aftermarket deck. from lookin at where an aftermarket harness plugs into the toyota one, the right rear ones seem to be a red and white wire but that just doesnt make to much sense to me and i want to verify before i start splicing into stuff.

thanks

Couple things to check.
1. Remote wire, make sure you are turning on the amp not just giving it power.
2. The line level converter should have a adjustment on it somewhere, it may be turned down all the way.

i have that rem wire going into the fuse box to the "ignition fuse" i belive. the amp is defintly gettin power and i think what is considerd to be "ON" b/c the green light is glowing. I am going to check the line level converter tomorw to see about adjustments if it is turned up enough. i hope to get this finished and workin soon and will be sure to let you know.
