The other day out driving i noticed after a good few miles, (using some good boost) the fuel gauge stopped moving at half a tank.... Then the fuel light came on a while after. So i put gas in and the gauge went a little higher, but not much. (I guess this means that the fuse must be ok if the gauge moved at all)
So guys, any ideas what the problem might be?? -------------------- |

does anyone know how the low fuel light gets its signal? i would have assumed it was from the same source as the needle. i dont see how the fuel level senser in the tank could mess up and you still get the low fuel light.
if it is the actual fuel gauge... you can pick up another gauge cluster at a junk yard. the fuel and engine temp part of the cluster can be removed and swapped without messing with the speed/odometer part. This post has been edited by Stu37363: Aug 9, 2007 - 8:52 AM |
