my bad but what the heck is the difference between a 3sge and 3sgte? i know the engine 3sgte but never heard of 3sge? is that an MR2 engine or something? anyways help me. i mean 2nd generation 3sge - is it strong? how much HP? let me know. thanks.

hey whats up. i got an 91 mr2 with a 3sge engine in it,basically its a 3sgte without the turbo.the turbo mr2's normally used the powerplant of the 2nd generation 3sge and obtained 200hp stock. i put the 3sge 3rd generation which is 175-185 on just motor then i put racing headers ,cat back exhaust,cold air intake .im running 250hp now on just my motor(no turbos)its fast.the best base block to start with is the 4th generation 3sge (very rare)also know as the 3sge BEAMS,its 220hp stock on just motor .
