like i said, i test-drove a new rx8 and damn that car is a monster around 4500rpm...

i havent had the chance to ever drive a sports car like that before, but at $29,500 theres noway i'll own one for another 8 years! but how does a 2nd or 3rd generation 3sgte swaped celica compair? yes, i know the engines are 2 completly different formats* and that rotary engine is a thing of beauty, how it sits right between the front wheels, ect...

just wondeting if i could get the warm and fuzzy feeling i did in the rx8, for about 6k in my celica?

i drove an rx8 before. they are nice cars. i was really impressed with the handling and ride quality. its much better in that department, then a celica.

as far as power goes, it lacks torque and you really have to wind the gears out to get the car to do anything. the 3sgte has more power and its an instant kick in the but, when the turbo kicks in.

go out and drive an evo or sti. thats a much better way to spend 29grand smile.gif.

so the 3sgte celica has more torque, because of the turbo right? is there a 6speed transmission for a celica swap?

I don't think Tufy needs 6 gears to get to 140mph+ in 14 seconds.
