Today I rear ended someone, and was left with a warning for "following too close". No collision on my car. Basically i have to pay for the damages myself. Heres the thing, to my knowledge my whole front end basically is unfixable so i dont really know what to do. i did this like 2 hours ago and the hood is wedged into the bumper so i cant even look to see what it looks like under the hood. The car runs, and the airbags did deploy (smashed my windshield in the process of this "life savor".) I have around $2,000 availiable to my name, im a hard working 17 year old just trying to have something to get around, but i am thinking about getting a kit. I have little knowledge on the body work area and was hoping that you guys can give me some better ideas on what to do. Maybe try to scavenge a bumper and hood? another thing is i can barely open my front door, like litterally my whole front end wedged into the middle of my car. I was already planning on getting a kit at some time but im also freaked out because of what happened, so should I spend some money on a body kit, or somehow fix this so its drivable. I love my car i was hoping u guys can look at the damages and give me some ideas on what to do.
Thanks. ![]() ![]() |

sorry to say but it is probably totalled. you say the door won't open? you probably bent your frame. it will take a lot of work to get everything safe enough to drive it regularly. sorry to hear about the accident. that sucks hardcore.
