QUOTE(burmeseboy @ Aug 20, 2007 - 3:06 PM) what did you use to grind off the texture of the backside of the dials with? is it hard to do? any steps i should take? =D It's actually very simple. You DON'T want to take the needles off for starters. Just bend the face up peace by piece so you can reach it and use fine grinding paper or some multi-purpose electric tool with a grinder on it. Keep the unit against the light so you can see it shining through the face numbers as you remove the texture on the backside of it. Peace of cake and the results are awesome! ![]() ![]() I am yet to find the LEDs that don't burn out within the month. Ordered some Hyper white Polarg's from eBay yesterday. |
