 offset help for a 17x7 wheel |

i've been looking at new wheels for the celica and found these:
rimstock i preferred the team dynamics savage wheel, but in a charcoal colour. the problem is that the supplier said the required offset for the celica is 48mm on a 17x7 wheel. is this right? as i feel it would look too deep within the wheel arch. |

My 17x7's are a 40mm offset and they look fine. 48 is pretty much the biggest offset I think you would want to go, otherwise you could start to rub. --------------------  |
