All of you convertible owners have ur conv. top switches and panel that the rest of us coupe and hatch owners don't have. I ordered the switch panel from toyota, which took 3 weeks coming from japan, I then ran to the only junkyard with our year celica's in it and pulled 3 switch covers. I drilled and filed them out till the autozone switches fit in and I hooked up my fog lights and my radar detector.
![]() ![]() ![]() ^^ I used armoural thinking I'd make it all black and shiny, but the covers shine differently than the panel so it matched better before i did that. AND do you notice another interior mod? -------------------- ![]() Darin H. |

![]() If you look closely you can see where the radar detector is mounted in the corner of my windshield on the drivers side, the wire runs down the side of the dash and under all the way till it meets up with my switches. I'll take a better picture tomorrow. The Short shifter is actually the "mexican" version.... aka I used a saws all and hacked it off, then threw on a shift knob, it works for me. And no one recognized the "toyota" emblem on the door under the stereo. -------------------- ![]() Darin H. |
