I have a JVC headunit that has no preouts I am sad to say *got it with the car* I love the sound of everything, but I want subs and there are no preouts to run into a crossover. Does anyone know how I could filter the other sound comming out into a sub correctly, I am willing to replace my back speakers to run subs if I must I just wana get subs ya know Thanks all

Go to a sound system store and let them know you need a "line level converter" for a 2 channel amp. you can splice into your back speaker wires on the back of the stock deck and then you just plug the rca's into that. That is what I have on my stock stereo rather than getting a new one. I also have one for a 4 channel amp hooked up to my front and back speakers for the stock speakers"which are not stock anymore".
