Anyone on here have a scanner light? Pics, how-to? Is it very hard? I'm getting bored with my interior. I did all the lights red: gauge, cig lighter, key ring, climate control, clock. I don't have enough guts to do the auto/short, steering wheel, and can't afford the DIN gauges, but still think those are sweet.
Does the scanner light draw too much from the battery. I'm concerned about this. Thanks guys! |

lol, I guess you guys haven't seen em before. My friends used to have em on their Trans Am and Camaro on their dash. It looks like a little knightrider light, but about 3-4 inches long.
Looks like you have a security system, they look kinda cool. My friends had them on the dash facing the outside of the car on the mirror or dash facing the outside so people could see it as they walked in front of the car. They would have look dumb on my 66 mustang so I never really asked them about it. They come in red, blue, green...etc. I think they sell some on ebay. But they are called scanner lights. |
