I have a wiring problem that is driving me crazy.
A little history, I had a friend of mine I was helping with the swap and we started out with the wrong pin out. Once we found the right one we re-wired everything. The car still wouldn't start. We ended up sending the harness to Dr. Tweak and reinstalled it.
I was getting 11 volts on my IDL wire and 5 volts on E2 (at the TPS connector). I just got back from a deployment and got a new ECU and TPS. I tested those wires and no more voltage. I tested everything else down at the ECU and everything passed (I have been using information from BGB on celicatech). It started right up and idled perfect. I let it idle for about twenty minutes and it seemed fine. I went to take it to get gas and was able to back it out of the garage and onto the street. I shifted into 1st and it died. I tested those wires again and no voltage on IDL but there is the 5 volts on E2 again. It is only throwing code 53.
I have been chasing wires for the last few days and can't figure out what is wrong with it. I haven't been able to get a hold of Dr. Tweak since I've been back and was hoping maybe someone could share their opinion. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Mike.
