so lets get down to stopping the 7afte smoking problem
ok so i have absolutely NO leaks in my system anywhere my return line has no bends in it so oil cant puddle in it i have an oil reducer in the feed line now what happens is under 3lbs or more of boost it will blow smoke out of the exhaust but when i stop or come out of boost it doesnt if i just drive normally (only going to 1 or barely 2lbs) there is no smoke at all so does anyone have any ideas of how to stop this and ive heard of using 2 reducers in the feed line does that sound like a good idea This post has been edited by jesterwr217: Sep 6, 2007 - 10:43 AM -------------------- BOOST GETS YOU LAID!!!! |

ok, well first thing you NEED to do, is go down to advanced auto or something or order one from here
http://www.42draftdesigns.com/vdo.htm so that you have an oil pressure gauge. get a T-fitting for your oil pressure sender output on your block, run the aftermarket one, OEM one and your oil feed line to the T. you need to find out what the oil pressure is, so that further diagnosis of your problem can occur. without knowing the pressure its needle in a hay stack / flying blind looks like so you would actually have to T into it again in order to hook up the gauge, i would T it @ the restrictor on the turbo for the aftermarket gauge.
