First off, I just got wires to hook up my old CD Deck, should it be simple as crimping the wires together and putting the deck in or do I need a special adapter to hold the body of the deck. (does the OEM work fine?)

Secondly, the interior cloth on my passenger door panel is starting to come off. I pulled a corner out a while ago on accident and now its getting worse. How would I go about fixing that.

I am talking about the part that is above the armrests on the doors.

Thanks guys.

Edit: For te deck, Ive narrowed it down to a couple wires, crimped the rest so im almost done.

There are a few that are stumping me.

These are the wires that I can't connect to anything:

orange w/ black stripe, orange w/ white stripe, and blue.

I think the blue one is power antenna but on my cd deck, the blue wire is just crimped off by istelf. What are these wires for?

Also, the old wiring harness for my honda had one yellow wire coming out, the red one was crimped off, and the yellow wire from the harness attached to a red and a yellow wire from the cd deck.

The NEW harness I have has a red and yellow wire but I don't know if I need to do the same thing, crimp off the red one and use the yellow to connect to red/yellow or connect the wires to their respective others.

That is happening to my doors too so sad frown.gif.

But I can answer your audio question. You are installing a new aftermarket CD player right? Well the factory brackets should work just fine if it's a double din. If you have a single din, then it will still bolt up, but you'll have an empty space underneath. Unless you are already single din and have a storage space or w.e there already.

Secondly, it should plug right in after you have spliced up all your connections to a wiring harness, but you need to plug it into the 2 plugs that are attached to under the factory amplifier. Just pull them off. The plug that is plugged into the factory radio will not plug into anything, so you can remove the factory amp and wiring as it will do nothing from now on.
